    The U-value (or U-factor), more correctly called the overall heat transfer coefficient, describes how well a building element conducts heat (in our case the frames and glass of our doors and windows). The use of Etalon-Prim Low-E® thermal insulation glass reduces heat loss through the glass and saves money for heating in the cold period of the year. Etalon-Prim Low-E® insulating glass reflects infrared rays (heat) emitted by radiators, heaters and other heat sources, thus reducing up to 80% temperature loss through the glass. Glass (Low-E®) is used in the manufacture of Thermopan Glass, a very fine and transparent layer of silver oxides is deposited on one of the glass surfaces, which allow the sun's rays to penetrate the room to heat the interior, but do not allow heat to be lost through the window. Due to its excellent thermal insulation capacity, the Etalon-Prim Low-E® double glazing increases thermal comfort and saves money for maintenance in the cold season. The Etalon-Prim Low-E® insulating glass is transparent and practically does not differ from an ordinary insulating glass. Etalon-Prim Low-E® insulating glass can also be combined with solar protection, sound insulation and security properties. Good insulation properties significantly reduce energy consumption. Profiles with central sealing achieve insulation values of up to U f = 0.94 W / (m 2 K). Together with triple insulating windows (U g = 0.4). The high stability allows a thin profile design and thus large glass surfaces. This means that additional solar energy gains are achieved.
